REGARDING LATE COMMENCEMENT OF Vl SEMESTER EXAM
Respected Sir,
Sir we are present with this application to draw your attention to some serious problems
faced by students of 7th semester. Our 6th sem main exam was supposed to happen in the month of May-June, but due to extremely slow administration of the college, the exam was not
conducted even when it was possible in the last many months. But now as per the latest
schedule for the same exam, it will be conducted in the first two weeks of November. Following
are some of the many problems currently faced by students regarding the same—
1. Companies are continuously coming for campus drives and all the students are
preparing hard for their tests and interviews, these exams are badly going to affect their
placements.
2. All students have their MOOC course exam (of Vll Sem) on 29, 30 and 31 October, with
exam centres throughout Rajasthan. It is all due to the mis-management of college
becoz of which we feel like complete injustice when we are supposed to prepare for two
exams, which will surely downgrade our grades.
3. Students have various exams like MBA, SSC-CGL, SSC-JE SSC-CPO, Forest Direct
Recruitment(RSMSSB), etc in the month of November. Due to the sem exam, students
will lose the opportunity to appear and perform in these exams.
4. Students left placement, just because of the delay of 6th sem marksheet. Students are
not able to apply for various scholarships and students also needed their Vl sem
marksheets by the end of September for technical entry in Armed Forces but the
couldn’t apply for the same.
5. These months are provided for internships, project works and seminars industrial training
whereas we are being forced to give exams. Which is no way logical and just.
6. Our Vll semester needs to start as soon as possible. It is because of the lag of the
management that we have to pay off at the risk of our career.
7. Currently we are supposed to prepare for exams like GATE, when we are asked for
preparing for semester exams.
8. Institution has 100+ NCC cadets. Generally the prestigious camps of NCC are planned
in such a manner that they don’t coincide with regular college exams. That is why all
such camps are organised in the month of September to December. During these
months almost no university in the entire India organizes their annual exams and even
the UGC gives guidelines every year to every university to conduct special exams for
those who have attended the RDC camp. Below mentioned are the details of cadets
severely getting affects due to the planned 6th sem exam—
● 4 cadets are selected for the prestigious Youth Exchange Programme to 11
foreign countries to happen in November.
● 1 cadet is selected for the Para Basic Course commencing in November.
cadets are selected as the Best Cadet from Kota group who will represent at
the state level and will be finalized for national level competition at Republic Day
Camp 2023. All further selections are to happen in the month of Nov and Dec.
● 7 cadets have already represented Rajasthan Dte at All India Vayu Sainik
Camp in September-October and brought glory to our university.
● 7 cadets had represented Rajasthan in All India Thal Sainik Camp at DGNCC,
New Delhi.
● This is going to be a record sir that all the selected cadets from Rajasthan for
these prestigious camps are from the same college and same university.
● And it will be a great de-motivation for the whole NCC fraternity of our college.
And a great set back to everyone’s hard work. The only hurdle in achieving this is
our end semester exams.
REQUESTS/DEMANDS—
Due to the above mentioned concerns, kindly consider the following—
1. 6th Sem must be promoted for the welfare of students on the basis of previous semester
performance.
2. If not possible, it must be conducted in online mode only with reduced syllabus.
3. Marksheets of 6th sem must be provided within the month of November.
4. Schedule for 7th and 8th sem must be provided, and no delay will be tolerated in their
exam and results.
5. 8th semester exams must end by the month of July 2023.
So all of us request you to please take decisions in such a way so our future remains
unaffected. Thank you sir.
Yours sincerely
All the students of final year.
